vinyl record painting

The jafagirls are working away on art for the doll show at the Emproium in June and this is one of them (work in progress) by moi, Corrine Bayraktaroglu aka Jafabrit.
It is painted on an old vinyl record coated with gesso, acrylic undercoat, and then oil paint.
It is based on a little souvenir doll I got at the age of 10 from a relative who had traveled abroad.
