Textile Totem: Poodle Pole

Nancy made this ADORABLE poodle and had a strong primal urge to sew it up onto the love totem, which is now the poodle pole. Rain couldn't discourage us from our mission and
despite the rain did our bit to brighten up the "dark side" of Yellow Springs.

Painted Benches & Yarn Bombing

Nancy painted a bench outside the Village Artisans on Corry and Dayton Street. I will be helping to finish decorating the other two flat benches .

We added some crochet flowers to our summer pole on Dayton Street.

The Knit has lost its Knot

Alas it had to happen?
The Tree Sweater was removed from the Knit Knot Tree on the last Sunday in April. We left a little band and a few pockets for people to enjoy.
All is not lost though, the yarn has found a new home on the "dark side" (Dayton Street) of Yellow Springs in the shape of "textile totems" adorning the street.

Each pole or post has a theme and will continue to evolve.
